Telling a story in a label is a very demanding task and mainly when we are talking about heritage, tradition, Kings and Kingdoms. Visuals details, code of arms and a very clean and sharpen design, is all we need to express the elevated quality of this limited edition.

The inspiration came, after reading all the centennial documents and information dated from the 2nd half of the 20th century, we have found the origins of "Quinta da Venda do Foral" best known by the people of the county as Quinta da Venda.

The History
Back in the days much of the land of Cavez integrated a large emphyteutic term, that belonged to the landlord of the Order of Malta and his wife, called "Casal da Venda".
Casal da venda's house was the headquarters of one of the institutions that, with evolution, became a place of commerce, " as Vendas", which was completely transformed in the 2nd half of the nineteenth century, with the creation of a modern farm of undeniable beauty.
The farm was considered one of the largest producer of the county (Cabeceiras de Basto) and probably of the 4 counties that cover the region of Basto of the traditional vinho verde.
