Combing both my love for plants and my love for disco balls, groove garden brings a fun twist on ordinary planters. It gives plants a fun home and rooms a good character.
The left photo displays the larger disco ball planter. It is 8' in diameter and can support a potted plant or a vase with flowers(pictured). The right two photos display the small planter which can home a smaller potted plant such as a succulent.
Process for the smaller disco planter
The smaller planter was made using two styrofoam half circles, 1500 5mm x 5mm mirror tiles, and a succulent. A 3 inch hole was cut out of the top half circle and it was then glued onto the other half circle. The tiles were placed by hand to create the appearance of a disco ball
Process for the larger disco ball
The larger disco planter was made using a premade disco ball and flowers. The top of the disco ball was cut off, exposing the hollow inside, so that a plant can be potted.
