BMW R 18 Race Bagger Personal Project
Personal project I have been playing with to explore what an R18 Race Bagger could look like.
The 1st Race Bagger sketched is based on the current R18 B with the batwing fairing. The idea would be that this bike is like a Stock Car (or think early days of DTM - E30 M3) and uses many of the production bikes parts and bodywork forms with racing hardware in an effort to promote the production bike and what it could be and look like as a Race Bagger from BMW! This is what most of the current King of the Baggers teams are building.
The 2nd Race Bagger sketched would be more extreme and equipped with MotoGP / WSBK hardware + bodywork that is recognizable as the R18 B but tweaked a bit to be more extreme as well as adding a frame mounted front fairing. "Moto B" >>> A bit of humor here! ;-))
