MuDeFri / UDW — Rebrand Proposal
Mudefri (Museo Del Design Friuli Venezia Giulia) is a digital museum born in 2016 thanks to a crowdfunding campaign. Mudefri has a clear focus in the local design and an open eye in the global one as well. The aim of this rebranding
was to create a bold, flexible and modern visual identity, able to strengthen the digital and physical presence of the museum and to visually connect its new identity to the activity of Udine Design Week (managed by the museum itself).

The two identities share the same exact logo but from a different perspective (upside down). Mudefri has a black and white color palette with some accent colors while Udine Design Week uses a colorful palette composed by 7 different colors to create more engagement and playfulness during the design week.
The concept revolves around the pixel, a classic reference to the digital world. The bold logo, as well as the custom display typeface, becomes the key element that instantly captures the viewer’s attention and highlights the digital component.
