Addicton | Decoding Our Brain
早晨一杯咖啡、偶爾睡前小酌的威士忌…，成癮物質在我們的周遭觸手可及，是生活中的小確幸，也可能成為失控的生命困境。「成癮」並非人類獨有的行為，成癮的關鍵到底是什麼？大腦與成癮物質如何交互作用？
為了讓觀眾可以認識《上癮的科學》，我們將展場打造成物質成癮研究所，融入實驗室、腦科學中心、展示室等情境，帶入故事、解謎任務，讓觀眾從遊戲體驗中學習。傳達與成癮議題相關的各種已知與未知，解析「上癮」，探索我們的大腦。
That warm mug of coffee in the morning, the decadent piece of chocolate when you feel the sugar craving, and a tumbler of whiskey before bedtime…the presence of all these rewarding stimuli adds more color to our life; yet they can also be the predecessor to impaired control.
The mechanisms of addictions are exceedingly complex. Getting to know the physiological working behind addictions, decode our brain, look squarely at the social issues attributed to drug abuse and addictions is what this exhibition aspires after.
