The Head And The Heart
This was a personal piece and exploration, I wanted to take the same minimalist sketch and show how I would approach using both Adobe Fresco and Adobe Illustrator on the iPad, and explore the different styles that lend themselves to each.
First I recreated the sketch in Illustrator on the iPad using the pencil tool and gradients and left the line work behind. I think I like this one the best of the two but its a tough call.
Then I recreated it in Adobe Fresco using the vector brush to create the linework, mixing a few images together using layer blending modes, some painterly work on top of that as well as some paint into photos trickery. I just wanted to play and see what I could create like this.

I also tried the drawing with a more anatomical approach to the heart but I think the previous one worked better for the experiment.
