The birth of Ralph Lauren RLX transformed notions of fitness fashion, technology and activewear. 
It was the first luxury offering in the category, and some of my most exciting work. RLX was a study in the visual communication of motion, strength and action, without sacrificing elegance. The fabrics featured the strong technology-derived fibers, with a color palette drawn from action sports. 

 

This set of images represents the footwear element of the collection, and the first attempt at 'smart' materials that might one day, communicate.
