Eivom Film Festival (EVFF)
EIVOM FILM FESTIVAL (EVFF) is a film festival held at EIVOM THEATER, an art/independent film theater in Seoul. Since it was first held in 2018 to revitalize small theaters and develop film culture, EVFF has been loved by many audiences. However, things have changed rapidly.
The experience of watching online streaming services has increased from 27.4% in 2019 to 40% in 2021*. Making matters worse, COVID 19 has had a substantial impact on the film industry. Cinemas have been closed, and festivals have been cancelled or postponed. EIVOM THEATER and EVFF was not an exception. It had to close due to financial crisis. As a reopening event, 2022 EVFF had to be different. It had to suggest audience a clear reason to visit the theater, and visit the festival.

Logotype
The ratio (2.35:1) of the CinemaScope―which was the most common screen ratio until the 1970s―was set as a frame. It naturally matches the font Univers LT Std 59 ultracondensed, which is used throughout the entire brand design outputs, and at the same time has a unique DNA as a logotype.
EVFF Passport

I wanted to create an analogue piece that would do more than just a book contained of information. Therefore, I focused on designing a personalized experience and making a precious item to be treasured. EVFF PASSPORT consists of basic information section, schedule section, screening information section and blank pages for stamping.
As audiences, we focus on the entire two, three hours of the film from beginning to the end.
As directors, we respect the audience's natural reaction to the film.
It doesn't matter whether you are a director, a programmer, or an audience.
We all share our ideas freely and enthusiastically.
We know that there is no such thing as an end to creativity.
As directors, programmers, and audiences, we keep our own journey as film lovers.
