Scope: Editorial, Sustainable practice
This was designed as part of my university coursework in 2013 and is the culmination of two projects, the re-design of an annual review/report and sustainable theory and practice. The original annual review had full colour images on every spread to the very edge of the page. To frame a sustainability challenge, I planned to reduce ink and trim waste which I achieved by using fewer and smaller full coloured images, with no artwork going beyond the page margins.
The cover doubles up as a map of TWS' nationwide campaigns, with their logo marking campaign areas that correlate to spreads four and five so the reader knows the location of each area they're reading about. The financials had a major overhall in their typographic style, which was then applied throughout the rest of the document.
