Extraterrestrial Surfers
Lately I've found myself transfixed by the surfers of Santa Cruz, CA, delighting in every opportunity to watch the sun go down while they clamber with their boards into the sea and paddle out in the waves.
There's something so alluring to me about these aesthetics- maybe it's because the surfers look like alien creatures clutching colorful shapes as they come in and out of the water.
Together with the vibrant pink and purple tones of Fuji Velvia 50, I feel a surreal blending of worlds, like I'm on some other planet.
