Sorting and packaging tomatos using image processing
I design the mechanism on Solidwork . It mainly consists of three parts: automatic feeding area, sorting area and packaging area:
-Automatic feeding area: Using 2 servo motors to take one tomato out of the string and bring it to the conveyer belt after checking under a camera.
-Sorting area: Base on the color of the tomato, pneumatic cylinders push it out or allow it move to the packaging area if it reaches the color standard. 
-Packaging area: Tomatos slide down the box and are splitted by a split bar . The box is automatically provided from a box column. The final product is weighed and push out of the system.

The PCB is designed on Altium using arduino to receive data from rasberry Pi and control 2 servo motors ,3 ir sensors 3 pneumatic valves . The video test is below:
