ASTAN BIKE
Em um mundo onde se aumenta cada vez mais o consumo, ja é mais que necessário repensar os meios de produção dos produtos. É ai que nasce a ASTAN, uma bicicleta feita em fibras naturais mais leve e resistente que bikes de alumínio. Fabricada na tecnologia de corte a laser, colada com resinas vegetais.
De acordo com pesquisadores de universidades de Santa Catarina no Brasil, e São Carlos em São Paulo, a ASTAN se mostrou num processo de produção 95% mais sustentável do que o alumínio e a fibra de carbono.

BIOMIMÉTICA: O quadro como um todo, lembra uma asa de borboleta, com sua leveza de apenas 4,5kg e oco.

ENGINEERING: Patented as an innovation, ASTAN has a lattice frame, which follows the grain of the wood fiber, which increases its resistance, absorbing more impacts and vibrations, increasing pedaling comfort.
NATURE: Another reference to its iconic and striking design is the roots and all natural shape of the trees, as well as its rear fork, shaped like two triangles that reference human lungs.
BIOMIMETIC: The frame as a whole, resembles a butterfly wing, with its lightness of only 4.5 kg and hollow.

Arquiteto britânico Sir Norman Foster recebe a primeira ASTAN bike a sair do Brasil. Ele foi responsável por criar a nova sede da Apple em Cupertino na Califórnia.
