Two posters designed for Deathrow Hull Roller Derby. The first poster was created in June 2013, based on a brief and sketch supplied by the client. The second poster was created in January 2014, and I was given free reign to do what I wanted with it, as long as the correct info was included.
Despite the different styles, there are deliberate links between the two posters, as I wanted to keep a unified design language in all of Deathrow Hull's design work. These are primarily the fonts used, and the heavy use of Deathrow Hull's brand colours (orange and the two shades of blue). Future posters will evolve along these guidelines.
