宋体西文
宋体西文是佐字社“国风”系列字库的西文组新成员，以宋体的笔形设计西文，让西文具有东方的气质，搭配汉字会有独特的观感。早在2011年我就曾设计过一款，时隔10年，对原版部分字母做了优化，比如“D”“O”的区分等，而且增加了数字和常用的标点符号。并且在光滑版基础上，新增了一款磨损效果的选择，让西文有铅印的怀旧味道。这款字构字方式类似西夏文，所以大段文字排布，可以识别，但并不易读，而是形式感更强，会出现非常独特的阅读质感。很适合标题、标志的应用，示例中汉字搭配的是“国风铅印宋”，比起大段的正文，应用在若干拼音或英文单词的时候，识别和形式更平衡。
Song Latin
It is a new member of the western language group of the "国风" series font of zuotype. It designs the western language with the pen shape of song style, so that the western language has the Oriental temperament and has a unique impression with Chinese characters. I designed one as early as 2011. After 10 years, I optimized some letters of the original version, such as the distinction between "d" and "O", and added numbers and common punctuation marks. And on the basis of the smooth version, a new choice of wear effect is added, which makes the western language have the nostalgic taste of typography. This type of characters is similar to Xixia Characters, so the layout of large paragraphs of characters can be recognized, but it is not easy to read, but has a stronger sense of form and a very unique reading texture. It is very suitable for the application of titles and signs. In the example, the Chinese characters are matched with "国风铅印宋". Compared with the large text, when applied to several pinyin or English words, the recognition and form are more balanced.
