Hyper Hyper ist about the effects of the New Media on our attention spans. In this work,
I was exploring my shift in cognitive styles from deep to hyper attention. I wanted to understand the causes, to fight against the issues and figure out how to tap the full potential of the phenomenon to use it as an enhancement of my creative processes.
 
I created a series of magazines that each informs about one topic: No1 is about the basic knowledge, a compendium with definitions and facts. Magazine No2 gives attention to the process of learning. No3 comes as a folded pamphlet/poster, that contains the illustrated results of an online survey that dealt with the issue of the fading attention spans.
No4 deals with reading and how to improve the attention with it.
 
All Magazines are designed to focus on tactile and sensory experiences through the use of different papers, weights, finishes and interactions. I used several elements to ease the process of following the content, such as a time data, working as an overview that helps the reader to estimate the time of reading a double spread, “hyperlinks”, etc.
 
The four Magazines are bundled in a pull-out folder that also comprises the table of content with a little preview of each section.
