Daniel has just turned 20 when his grandfather dies leaving him his old country house. The boy, fed up with the constant pressure of his parents and eager for a little freedom, takes the ball by storm and, after the umpteenth fight with his parents, moves into the villa.
In the villa, however, there is something sinister. Starting with the crow on the gate and the gloomy air of the mansion. However that is only the beginning. Strange noises and strange shadows persecute the young man who, initially skeptical, rejects all the strange phenomena of which he is the impotent protagonist.
Daniel is increasingly terrified and to give him the coup de grace will be the discovery of the notebook, in which his grandfather wrote in the last days of his life. At the end of it all stands out an inscription in big letters: Don’t let the crow in!
The boy spends the rest of his days constantly watching the crow, making sure he stays as far away from the house as possible. But despite all of Daniel’s efforts, the raven is getting closer and closer.
The boy, exhausted by days of anxiety and terror, falls asleep. And at that moment the crow manages to enter.
Daniel wakes up just in time to chase the crow with his grandfather’s stick, to the attic where he finally manages to stun him. However, just before giving the coup de grâce to the bird it hears once again the noises that disturb now all its days. They’re from a nearby box.
He cautiously approaches the box and opens it. Inside, to his surprise, he sees a nest of small crows.
The boy then, after dropping the stick, returns to the crow, gently lifts him off the ground and brings him downstairs to heal him. Some days pass when Daniel takes care of both the crow and the younglings.
When the crow is finally healthy, Daniel takes the crow back to the attic, where, smiling quietly, he watches the crow reunite with his younglings.
