Jungle Slaughter was a 2.5D platformer developed by me and another classmate where i handled the code. This was the first project where i used state machines and it gave me valuable experience in level design and enemy logic.
In this game you can take the weapons of your enemies after defeating them, taking weapons of the same type will increase the ammo/durability.
If you attack with the axe while facing towards a wall you will stick to it allowing to jump again, you can use this to reach areas you wouldn't be able to reach otherwise.
Axe wielding enemies will start chasing you if you get close to them, however if you create enough distance they will stop and go back to patrolling the area around them
Scattered around the level are medicine kits that you can get to recover health
