Testing exposures

This post is just the test results with my camera, the Canon EOS M50.
Below are two photos of the Moon that have different exposures. 

This first photo is the result of stacking 21 photos of 1/1600s exposure at ISO-800. We may see the surface characteristics like the craters, but there are no stars in the field because the star is so dim that there are not enough photons to leave information in the photo.
The second photo results from stacking nine photos. Each of 1 second of exposure at ISO-800. With such a high exposure time, the side that the sun illuminates is saturated, and we cannot see any details. But we can now see some of the brightest stars in the field and the entire moon disk. :) The dim light that illuminates this darker side of the Moon is actually sunlight that is reflected by the earths oceans. :)
This is just a small test with a curious outcome. :)
