When I entered into the business partnership with master photographer Mark Hilliard to co-own The Lens Work Gallery in Pawleys Island SC , I had bucketfuls of gallery quality images. Mark viewed them, noted their quality and promptly told me they would not sell. Very loudly and oozing hurt I asked why. Because they were not of local interest. The locals wanted local scenes, the tourists wanted local scenes, go shoot some local scenes. Luckily Pawleys provided a multitude of venues to get my shots. Sixteen months have passed and the Island still amazes me with what she has to offer. Changing seasons, changing weather, a.m/p.m., a different access tried , all allow me to explore and experience this icon of a coastal isle. Trust you find the Island as entertaining as I do.
