Georgetown SC: Where they take time to smell the roses

Historic Georgetown SC
Georgetown SC is a timeless town , one layered in history,  fighting to preserve a dying old south culture,  Her structures date to the 1700s.  New  must seamlessly blend with the old.  Signs must comform.  She is a waterfront town, blending working shrimp boat docks with marinas catering to mega yachts,  and harbor  boardwalk cafes shouting tourist eat hear to the across the street breakfast eatery where all know all.  This quaintness, this simplicity of life, facinates this world traveler and big city boy.  I want my images to not only scream that is Georgetown, but also to project her "I want to live there" atmosphere.  The work is far from complete. As I walk its boundaries, I find more to image.
