"Helping Hands"
This piece is part of the book I'm both illustrating and writing. It's based on my whimsical childhood memories of quirky, fun things my friends and I used to do outside. Here, as kids we thought birds in the spring could use some assistance making their nests, so we made some too!

And this particular work alludes to how my friends and I would comb through lilac bushes in search of 5 petaled flowers because supposedly they had wish granting powers! (I sometimes still do that)
