Logo and corporate identity for an EdTech-service
LiveDigital is a platform for conducting interactive online lessons. The service allows teachers to do online lessons, applying the methods of face-to-face ones.
The aim of the project is to bring online lessons closer to the usual offline mode. The platform helps online schools identify their growth points, providing data on students’ activity and involvement during the lesson. At the moment the service is working on the territory of the CIS, but the company is aiming at entering the international market.
The task is to create a logo and corporate identity, which represent the brand’s positioning and help to set apart from the popular video conferencing services — such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet.
For the logomark we used the image of the screen: this element is associated with online environment and computers. Inside the big screen there are several little ones, which represent the company’s idea, that is — bringing everyone together in one virtual class. The logomark is designed in the style “glassmorphism”, so it looks airy and light and at the same time modern.
The wordmark is designed in font Nunito Sans. It is used in the corporate identity of LiveDigital as well. Nunito Sans is a balanced sans serif font, which is easy-to-read on all media. Several typefaces of this font allow to create hierarchy in text and it makes reading easier for users.
For the corporate colors we have chosen blue, light blue and orange. Blue and light blue are associated with digital sphere and technologies, and they are comfortable for the eye. Orange color invigorates the monochrome palette and adds moderate brightness to the corporate identity. We added neutral black and white to the corporate colors so that it is possible to use the logo on any background.
For branding of media we have taken the image of the screen from the logo and developed several variants for it. They differ in color, size and transparency, that is why one can combine them in different ways and create unique patterns. For the cases when the colored background is used or there are limitations to printing, we have created variants of graphical elements, where only contour is left.
