WHY DID I MAKE THESE?

Great question.

I was experimenting in adobe illustrator and was trying to recreate some gateway or portal thing I had seen. I started with a cyber tattoo design from another one of my books (Bits of the Future). I folded it in half and the folded it again and again like a kaleidoscope. I made 1000 iterations and saved 175.

Too much of a good thing and all that.

My goal was to create a B&W image series created from the same seed drawing where the images work alone and as a family of images.

I love results and they scale beautifully.
