Concept

Digital photography is omnipresent because of technical progress in our modern society: even mobile phones contain the possibility to capture everyday occupations. Online image archives have blurred the border between public space and personal archive and are accessible to everyone.

An ultimate example of this phenomenon is shown in this book: I claimed (thanks to Bluetooth) public images on mobile phones in a multimedia store Mediamarkt. By changing its context, the seemingly meaningless images (intentionally shot just to test the device) gained a true reason to exist.
