Did you ever look at someone and think to yourself "They look familiar?"
The Non existent are a group of individuals who do not actually exist, you may or may not recognise them, some of their feature may even look familiar to you.
Ten female and ten male subjects were chosen at random and photographed. By acting a little like Dr Frankenstein, the faces of the individuals were dissected and then put back together to form a totally fictitious and non existent person.
In a world were we are quick to first judge people on their appearance, this project challenges those notions, whatever you first may think of these individuals, the aim is to make you realise that people are not always as they they first seem.
The old saying "Never judge a book by its cover" springs to mind.
