äsc3ea is an audiovisual project of Emma Grünwald (Hamzayeva)
created before the war in Ukraine, in 2021.
Emma Grünwald is a multidisciplinary designer, artist, and music producer based in Kyiv, Ukraine,
originally from Baku (Azerbaijan). Currently relocated to Lviv (Ukraine) due to the full-scale war against Ukraine and all of Europe started by Russia on February 24th.
To create an audiovisual experience, in her practice, she tries to use a combination of instruments, like generative graphics, design, calligraphy, photography/videography and sound art.
Some visuals you'll see here are part of another project called visual escapism @visual.esc that Emma started back in 2018, taking grainy, blurry night visuals, that captured the atmosphere of the moment.
