Our goal is to provide a mobile app experience to target perspective students and make them aware of the Ohio University ‘it’s you” marketing campaign. The app will allow users to upload photos of themselves in an Ohio University environment and share it on Facebook, with possibilities of monthly prizes from the best photo.

We used the Lean UX method, which allowed for rapid production and allowed the designers and developers to work together. With Lean UX, there were less complex deliverables, more low-fidelty cycles, and frequent feedback from all members. This required bi-weekly meetings with the entire team, including those involved at UCM.
Used Ohio University’s Brand Standards while developing the theme of the app. This was the initial style guide.
Our final userflow is shown below.
Some example wireframes that were used towards the beginning of the project.
After going over the inital style guide, the team picked their favorite type faces and styles. This is our first set of mock ups.
Here are all of the final mock ups. These were completed after two user testing sessions in a freshmen residence hall on campus.
We were not in charge of completed the development portion of the app, so we made a document with the purpose of the developer knowing exactly what would need to be done to complete the app.
