The 2022 Tucson Gem and Mineral Showcase

Operating under the leadership of co-owner Chase Pipes, Smoky Mountain Relic Room occupies the floor beneath the Smoky Mountain Knife Works in Sevierville, Tennessee. A large seller of historical artifacts and geological specimens, Smoky Mountain Relic Room participated in the 2022 Tucson Gem and Mineral Showcase.

A 2-week event that began on January 29, 2022, the Tucson Gem and Mineral Showcase featured more than a dozen mineral dealers, as well as fossil dealers with both commercial and museum-quality specimens. The event also hosted two meteorite exhibits from dealers Sahara Overland and OuterSpacer Meteorites. Carrying a broad spectrum of geological and archeological items, exhibitors at the 2022 Tucson Gem and Mineral Showcase included the Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences and the Black Hills Institute of Geologic Research.

Each year, the Tucson Gem and Mineral Showcase attracts tens of thousands of guests from around the world. Attendees of the 2022 event enjoyed benefits such as on-site food trucks, free parking, and shuttle service.
