Teach self-defense for girls is the main goal for Quick Self-defense App. This app was idealized by Colorss foundation, a non-profit organization in India focused in women empowerment and reduction of poverty by education. More than an App, this project represents women’s fight against sexual assault and the search for confidency face dangerous situation, I was volunteer on this project. My role was to redesign a new interface for an existent version of the app. For this, I decided start from scratch: dealing with the user experience, peforming user and market research. Second, creating some wireframes and running usability tests. The last part was final UI and the visual design. The entire visual was created by me, from the choose of the colors, representing important Indian colors, to the creation of illustrated icons to make the interface more interesting. The user flow was one of the biggest concerns in the development of this app, usability tests were necessary to define the perfect flow to keep the user engaged the entire learning process.Also it brought up some new and necessary functionalities, that did not exist in previous version - such as : stop and speed in practice mode.
