Concept:
The brief is to create a tote bag design for Gap's '0% Plastic' environment-awareness campaign. Using the tagline “0% Plastic” as a starting point, I first thought of the idea of plastic surgery and the artificiality associated with it. Wanting to add an element of humour and slight macabre, I decided to use the notion of Frankenstein, being a monster put together artificially with dead human parts. But in a world with no more humans left, what would Frankie find in a rotting plastic landfill?
