Madhubani painting is a style of Indian painting, practiced in the Mithila region of Bihar state, India. Painting is done with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using natural dyes and pigments, and is characterized by eye-catching geometrical patterns.
The below paintings are done with acrylic paints on cloth, and were put up for sale in one of the famous art fair of Bangalore, called Chitra Santhe.
Out of the two, the above one got sold.
