How the leopard got his spots
this is a project for uni. the assignment was to make a book series for children - more specifically to adapt Rudyard Kipling's "Just So Stories" into separate books, make the design for the whole series and illustrate one of the stories. i chose to work on "How the leopard got his spots"
the black&white illustrations are special; they replace Kipling's original art and the text next to them describes what is drawn from the point of view of the author. i decided to handwrite the text and redraw the illustrations, as if the author drew them quickly and wrote instantly what he meant.
