AiMN: Filmmakers/Film Club

One of the very first places I chose to participate in while attending the Art Institutes International Minnesota (AiMN) was some of the few extracirricular areas on campus. I first had noticed some open opportunities in the Film major's department - after all, I have always fancied on doing some acting roles while I was fresh in my college career.

Another opportuinty opened up while I had noticed the promotional posters; the ones that were out on the hallways to announce any upcoming events were very bland, and needed some intense work to pop out the student body. As a graphic design major in AiMN, I had to take action.

So, I sat down and had spoken to the leaders of the organization and voluntarily provided my services (pro bono) to enhance the look of the AiMN Filmmakers/Film Club to add onto my resume, they agreed, and I went to work. By the end of the flyers I had made for the club, more people starting coming in. Long story short, in the beginning, the club had about six members. With my services provided and added onto the walls of the hallways, new students and more came by, and had increased the team up to fifteen extra members.
