Inspire Oakland submission from 2017. This was inspired by the inside of the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA. The theaters history and journey of what started out as a local movie theater in 1928. It lasted a few decades before they closed down. Years later, locals and the city came together to save the theater. With a huge remodel and many city meetings, the theater opened its doors again in the early 2000's and is now a live music venue for performers from all over the world.
