What Do You See? is a 9 by 7 inch landscape book and was an experimental documentation project for my publication design class. I chose to write about ideas surrounding environmentalism and the human impact on it. Along with writing and publishing the book, I also photographed, collaged, and designed the entirety of the book from cover to cover. My goal for this book was to share my thoughts and research found on the topic while still making it an enjoyable experience for the reader. I chunked the book into six sections which include the four basic stages of life – birth, growth, reproduction, and death – for all living things.
