The aim of this project is to create an interactive art installation that will connect participants physically, emotionally and intellectually to a virtual art sketch projected onto a screen hung at eye level. Digital media will act as the gateway in transporting participants from the physical to the virtual world. Participants will enter a space and by way of physical motion will partner with the device Microsoft Kinect to interact with a processing sketch. In so doing, by the promotion of play, participants will communicate with digital media as a consequence of a visual-physical experience on a meaningful and social level.  

 

Below are two working prototypes.  The first shows a group of particles interacting with the computer mouse.  Whilst the second prototype shows the addition of three other group of particles and making use of colour.
