It was eerily quiet that cold winter morning. We arrived to find Old Bison Ranch engulfed in a thick blanket of fog. Even though we had arrived early in preparation to capture sunrise, we quickly shifted gears to look for compositions that the foggy morning was creating. Weather can change rapidly, a slight breeze can create ripples in the water that disrupts the reflections, which can completely change the entire feel of an image. So we had to move quickly to capture these images before anything changed.
Back in the day, bison used to roam Old Bison Ranch in North Texas. The ranch encompasses 600 acres of God’s goodness and natural wonders.
