Andrew Ripp is a singer/songwriter I really like and I decided to use an upcoming tour date of his and make a poster out of it. I tried to practice new photoshop techniques and create a sense of depth. I constructed the word simple by myself, adding texture and shadows to make it look like the letters are folded. Then I used some filters and layer effects for the amp and the guitar to get my finished result.
When I posted this I forgot to mention Andrew Ripp actually saw my poster and responded. Super cool!
