Dance academy follows the urban concept of area of Winter Port in Bratislava city, where university complex was designed and situated. Two solids of dance academy in mutual interactions are seeking to do expressions of movement, dynamism. At the same time they are trying to link up to the environment. Genius loci of harbour is in specific character, it is neglected area with partial operation, with cumbersome of large cranes, which are in “movement” with the transhipment of materials. On the other hand, a dance academy expresses gracefulness of movement, which is a marked contrast to the area as the port.
