Every now and again a project comes along that really resonates with why I do what I do.  This was one of those projects.  Working with my Creative Director, Matt Blume, we developed a series of videos showcasing why the United Way does what they do.

We took a different type of approach with this one.  With the idea of using primarily flipcams for our b-roll, we sent them out with our subjects and had them film everyday life: walks with the dog, fishing, family time, etc.  We also chose not to film the actual interview, making it a little bit more difficult to tell the visual story.

This is one of a 3 part series.  I'll be uploading the others in the weeks to come.

This is one of those projects that reminded me the real reason I got into this business: to tell stories that are going to affect peoples lives.
