Sips & Turpentine
On a London high street packed with impersonal coffee shop chains, the client wanted to introduce an alternative café that elevates the experience of coffee. Making and drinking artisanal coffee is a highly sensory experience: the smell, the taste, the touch. And so is making art. This parallel between art and coffee-making became the basis for Sips & Turpentine, a coffee shop that embodies the ideal of a bespoke, sensory, and crafted coffee experience. The droplet motif in the logo represents both coffee and paint, while the serif typeface projects a sense of refined chicness.
