Collaboration between: Carla Taljaard, Stephen Steyn and Warwick Manley
First place entry for the 2010 Des Baker Architectural Student Design Competition.
The project investigates the event within the city, stemming from the briefs relation to South Africa's hosting of the 2010 World Cup.
The project argues;
- The city needs a form of response to affects of the event.
- This is realised through a mobile forum, where community discussions can be held, and realised as a printed publication.
- The building not only hosts the process of printing but itself becomes a printer.
