I needed to share this, it is different from my usual work.
La Palma volcano was something that touched us very deeply, a dramatic situation that made us aware of what it means to live in the Canary Islands.

A paradise resting on sleeping monsters.

I don't know exactly how I ended up there, and I still haven't realized how lucky I am.
But I had the honor of being one of the first people to enter the mouth of the volcano, thanks to the CSIC scientists.
