A selection of my sketches from the year 2021. I have been trying to do traditional sketches on a daily basis to improve my technique, especially the representation of muscles and the body in general, to get a better understanding of light and shadow and to try to apply it in the best possible way on paper. There is still a lot of practice to be done, but I am happy with the progress I have made so far.

I used photo references from packs bought by Grafit Studio, Satine Zillah, Howard Lyon, Rachel Bradley and others.

110gsm plain paper, graphite pencils and a paper stump sometimes. The drawings were scanned and then cleaned and rearranged in photoshop a bit.
