The districts of Sanganer and Bagru in Rajasthan are widely famous across the world for their beautiful hand-block printing. Each block of teak takes anywhere from a week to a month to be made into the desired design for the prints. Due to the intricate nature of these prints, the blocks are seldom discarded if they're chipped or damaged during the process.
This project is aimed at using these beguiling pieces to make costume jewellery.
