Jeune artiste parisien, Fakir s'est fait connaître des amateurs de designer toys grâce à ses customs de figurines parfaitement exécutés. Il est également à l'origine du Lapin Qbiq qu'il a lui-même autoproduit. Illustrateur, character-designer, peintre et toymaker, il capte dans ses travaux toute l'énergie de ses références visuelles pour nous offrir un florilège inspiré de personnages exaltés. Avec un traité graphique très pur et des influences issues du cartoon, du graffiti, du manga ou du tatouage, l'univers de Fakir est d'une incroyable fraicheur et d'une maîtrise surprenante.
Pour sa première exposition solo, l'artiste vous invite à découvrir des oeuvres inspirées de la culture japonaise. Grâce à une scénographie bien pensée, vous pénètrez aisément dans l'univers délirant de l'artiste et découvrez au fur et à mesure de la visite des céphalopodes revanchards, des chats bagarreurs, des monstres gentiment inquiétants et de nombreux personnages fantasques déclinés sur toiles, custom toys ou sérigraphies.
Un travail de qualité de l'artiste qui reflète une vraie cohérence dans toutes ses oeuvres !

Young Parisian artist, Fakir has made his way thru collectors' hearts for a couple years with his awesome toy customs. He's the mastermind behind the LapinQbiq DIY toy that he also self-produced. Illustrator, chara-design, painter and toymaker, he caught into his works the energy of his visual references in order to offer us an inspired anthology of impetuous characters. With a pure and clear graphic processing and influences from cartoon, graffiti, mangas or tattoo, the world of Fakir is incredibly fresh and surprisingly skilled.
For his first solo exhibition, the artist invites you to discover his artworks inspired by the Japanese Culture. With a well thought scenography, you enter easily in his delirious universe and discover a multitude of vindictive cephalopods, cats fighters, friendly disturbing monsters and numerous unpredictable characters declined on paintings, custom toys or screenprintings.
