I have created an illustration / pattern for Tembo NYC, a woman-owned social enterprise, creating fashion accessories that make a positive impact. 

"The look & feel of this illustration represents world music, jazz and the universality 

of human connection throughout the music.Music has long been used as a vehicle 

to expose social injustice and to spur community activism. The power of music and song as tools to protest injustice and spur change is enormous. Music is also a powerful community-building tool as its universal nature allows for cross-cultural connections 

and understanding. When people of different races or creeds, despite language 

and cultural differences, can share and enjoy music together, it opens possibilities 

to bridge cultural divides. In an increasingly diverse world, music serves to bind rather than separate people"
