The working of magnetic smoke(on Nano-scale):
As the result of diffusion and/or heat, smokes wants to lift up. By switching a controllable magnet on and off for several times per seconds; the smoke can be maintained in a certain position. By placing the magnets in the right way, a dress can be shaped out of the smoke.
Unpredictable and Mysterious
My fascination for smoke grew, resulting in my strong vision. I was determined to find out the mystery of smoke.
Even though we all clearly understand the physics behind the creation of smoke, I was fascinated by the unpredictable, the mysterious patterns that smoke creates in the air. This fascination for mystery and movement was my initial inspiration for this project. While digging deeper in the history of smoke, I found out that smoke has different symbolic meanings, values to different cultures and people. I searched for old and new traditions with smoke to find answers for the mystery. I explored and experimented, and with each experimented I came closer to my own answers.
