These illustrations are part of a large project 'FYRTLE' commissioned by the City of Poznań, on which I have been working for a long time with the entire collective ILU NAS JEST.
'FYRTEL' is a German-derived dialect term for a fragment of the city, district, the nearest neighbourhood, backyard, used mostly in the city of Poznań (Poland). There are 42 administrative districts in Poznań and each member of our collective was assigned 6 to illustrate.
The first step of the project was a survey. On the basis of the responses provided by the inhabitants of Poznań, 42 illustrations of Poznań neighbourhoods full of endorphins were created.

There is much more to the project than the illustrations, but you would need basic Polish to enjoy it fully :P So while you're studying Polish, you can still enjoy the drawings!
