Credo Blog:
I wrote this article for Credo College in 25th January 2021. For this, I incorporated my advice I found on the internet with personal experiences of procrastinating and eventually cramming for examinations. Ironically, I did have issues with distractions while composing the article since it was a drier topic, but eventually I got it finished before the deadline. https://college.credo.edu.pk/distractions-and-how-to-end-them/
Cricket Experience:
This was an article about a match I attended during PSL V on 25th February, 2020 that I wrote for the Cricket Enthusiasts (CE) server. Since it was more informal, I wrote in a much more comedic manner and had a lot of fun composing it.

IPL Article:
This was my first article for the Cricket Enthusiasts (CE) Discord server that I wrote out of a whim while observing the proceedings of the IPL auction on 22 December 2019. Reading it now, I feel like I was a bit harsh on their statistics because I was a bit unsure about what differentiates a good player from a great player. But generally the predictions turned to be accurate, as many of the top picks ended up underperforming in the big stage, and some of the unpicked players have had stellar recent years.
Best Test XI Per Era:
My longest endeavor in terms of time, this is the kind of article that I thrive within the most courtesy of my passion of numbers. I spent many hours sifting through the ESPNCricinfo database to analyze their statistics and deduce which player beats out his peers and posted it on 2nd February 2020. Subsequently, there was a myriad of debate in the server over a few picks, such as Lyon over Ashwin or S Pollock over Ntini, but to this day I feel that my choices hold up well. This is my second favourite article, only beaten by the final submission in my portfolio.

Best Test XI Per Country:
Two to three months after the previous article, I wrote another piece on 16th April 2020 in a similar vein, except this was for each country. This was inspired by a discussion in the server over this very topic, so I took advantage of this and got my creative juices flowing again. Some of it has aged thanks to some brilliant players in today's era; however, in the end, I am still satisfied.

Best ODI XI Per Era:
I had promised to write a follow up to the Test article, except for ODIs, and fulfilled it around half a year later on 11th July 2020. Nothing too different here, albeit it required lesser effort.
Jayawickrama Article:
My magnum opus. I wrote this post Oct-Nov AS examinations for In The Air, a website that publishes writing on cricket regularly, on January 2 2022.. The link to the article is intheair.substack.com/p/weekly-talent-spotlight-6-praveen (please do not leave comments as my identity is not shared on the website). This encapsulated many styles of writing, from storytelling to biographical data to technical analysis. I will write more for ITA in the following months, perhaps on the Ashes that have just culminated.
